Schneider Electric’s third-quarter organic revenue rose 17 percent to 11.5 billion euros, a record for any quarter, as orders tied to data centers posted triple-digit growth for the third time in four quarters. The French energy technology company said the streak has extended visibility into 2027 and 2028.
Data center streak extends visibility
Chief Financial Officer Nathan Fast told analysts the data center business “continues to be exceptionally strong, with another quarter of triple-digit demand growth in Q3.” The pattern has held for three of the last four quarters. When Morgan Stanley’s Max Yates asked for a breakdown of exposure to neocloud operators such as CoreWeave, Fast declined to split hyperscaler, colocation and neocloud contributions. Chief Executive Olivier Blum said the company is “extremely careful to select those companies that will be there in the long term.”
China growth outpaces North America on AI infrastructure
The energy management segment generated its highest revenue volume in North America but recorded a 32.4 percent organic growth rate in China and East Asia, versus 20.3 percent in North America. Fast attributed the China acceleration to investment in AI infrastructure, specifically data center and semiconductor spending. The company now lists China alongside the United States and India as the primary geographic growth drivers for the period ahead.
North America sustained by prefab and cooling
North American demand remained robust, supported by sustained high demand for prefabricated solutions and cooling equipment, Fast said. The region continues to lead in absolute revenue terms even as the growth rate lags Asia.
Europe lifted by EV charger pull-through
Blum cited a “massive acceleration” in electric vehicle adoption as a tailwind in Europe. Each charger installation typically requires an electrical panel upgrade, creating a pull-through effect in a market where Schneider holds a strong share. The dynamic turns a single product sale into a broader electrical distribution opportunity.
